"Dreamy electro-chant with strong third world overtones"
Titus Levi - Keyboard magazine

Pole Shift creates music which balances traditional timbres with atmospheric, electronic soundscapes. Acoustic instruments such as clarinet, sax, flute and piano intertwine with synths, samples, exotic percussion, and odd time signatures. Pole Shift's music invokes images of far away lands at the edge of the world. In fact the CD booklet features twelve computer images of such lands created by Pole Shift member Brenda Trevethan.
