Almost a year in the making, I Saw The Milky Way - continues and expands the grooves and atmospheres that were established on the SecondaryCell debut release. The album contains over an hour of music, with fourteen original instrumental tracks influenced by IDM, glitch and down tempo styles.
SecondaryCell creates electronic music which falls somewhere within the IDM, downtempo, chill-out and ambient musical styles, yet has an accessible, earthy quality that comes from a different perspective. SecondaryCell is our newest release, and the first IDM offering in our catalog.
Element 115 blends electronic and found sounds with distorted guitar, treated saxophone, and exotic percussion. Guitars and guitar synths, woodwinds and midi wind controllers, real and artificial percussion all trade places and turn the listener's point of view inside out.
Transmuters originally released "Real World" on vinyl in 1984 and now Antarctica Records is making it available on CD. Transmuters classic "Devo meets the Cars" sound is full of quirky energy with high-speed drum and synth bass percolations that drive power synths and guitars to new-wave heights.
