An eclectic, all-acoustic blend of folk, jazz, classical and world music.

Tim Buchanan - vocals, lyrics, flutes, kalimba, accordian, harmonica, banjo & piano

Timothy Buchanan was born and raised in Southern Indiana, son of a mechanic and an domestic engineer. In the small town of Boonville, a farming and coal mining community, Tim grew up playing music in garages and churches, though not with any serious intention, and mostly loved playing pranks that involved feed corn and toilet paper.

In 1990 he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to go to school and get away from home for a while but never made it back to Indiana for any kind of lengthy stay. His two sisters eventually would do the same, and now all three, along with their spouses, call Middle Tennessee home.

Though a social worker by day, Buchanan is involved in music with some serious intention now, along with writing. With his band Tombstone Trailerpark, he has released four albums of progressive folkly Americana music and as a solo artist has released two spoken word records. Tim has had essays and poetry printed in Flyin' Shoes, Luke and True Tunes and writes regularly for TrueTunes.com.
